About the artwork
It was a dark and stormy winter night… Actually, I can’t say for sure if it was dark or stormy. But I can say the original drawing on which this poster art is based, was dated and signed by me on January 30th in the winter of 1988.
A lot of folks have asked me what the content of this work is exactly, how it works or what it means. My answer: no idea whatsoever. It was important to me to make sure this reimagined version is nearly absolutely true to the original, save for a couple of embellishments.
Did you know…
This original artwork is also available as quality poster prints – here and here. Oh, and also a colouring page here.
