Learning Resources for non-Indigenous Canadians

WHAT THIS IS

I have a lot of privilege as a settler living, working, playing and creating in Moh’kinsstis on Treaty 7 land. Part of that privilege is having this virtual space to share resources with others. I amalgamated these resources for my own quick and easy reference while learning about the Final Report’s Calls for Justice for all Canadians (page 199) and now sharing with anyone who needs a place to start.

If you are non-Indigenous and genuinely keen to learn, unlearn, relearn and take action towards making transformative change that benefits ALL Canadians, then this space is a good place to start (Google is your friend too!). This very incomplete compilation of resources (as I find them and in no particular order) includes links to: TRC reports, MMIWG final reports, educational sources, podcasts, videos, numerous articles and more.
